Ramblings about children's books (and sometimes some other stuff) from author Barbara O'Connor
Is that lavender in your garden? I tried growing it Florida and had no luck, but I'm hoping South Carolina climate might be more conducive. And I love the weather vane!
That's Nepeta (common name catmint). I LOVE it. I have no luck with lavender either. Catmint blooms profusely from spring to mid-July. Then with a shave, it blooms again (sometimes) or at least has nice foliage.
Thanks! I'll give that a try. I looks lovely in your garden.
