Writing Tip Tuesday

I've been travelling (IRA and TLA) and have revisions due yesterday.......so Writing Tip Tuesday is going to be short and sweet.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Resist the urge to explain.

    I love this! RUE - I just made a label for a group of students. I am demonstrating this with fifth graders next week. We make labels for their papers. Sometimes the teacher puts, Beginning, Middle, End. Sometimes the teacher puts show, not tell. Now she can write RUE. The kids will love this! THANKS. www.debrennersmith.com
