How to Steal a Dog has been named to the International Reading Association's 2008 list of Notable Books for a Global Society.Each year, IRA elects a list of 25 outstanding trade books for enhancing student understanding of people and cultures throughout the world.
Winning titles include fiction, nonfiction, and poetry written for students in grades K-12.
