Two weeks ago, a sweet little dog named Martha arrived as a new member of our family.

How fun to see this dog friendship bloom!
I knew Ruby would come around. Seeing them together makes me miss my dogs so much. I'm hoping to get another soon.

I think this just means Ruby is a more discriminating dog than you might have suspected. She had to check the new kid out, see if she smelled ok, etc. before she opened her heart to Martha. Makes sense to me.
