About Me
- Barbara O'Connor
- I'm a children's book author. My latest book is The Small Adventure of Popeye and Elvis. Others include Greetings from Nowhere, How to Steal a Dog, Moonpie and Ivy, and Fame and Glory in Freedom, Georgia. In addition to being a five-time winner of the Parents Choice Award, my awards include the Massachusetts Book Award, the South Carolina Children's Book Award, School Library Journal Best Books, Bank Street College Best Books, and ALA Notables. I currently have books on over twenty state reading award lists.

I can't resist, I'll take TWO!
They are beautiful! Natalie has been asking for a dog for along time. We have fish that Dad takes care of, although Natalie does visit the tank to say Hi. Natalie is allergic to some dander, we are trying to figure it out. We are contemplating... How about "Georgina" for a name, or (George)?

Oh I wish I was close enough to get some of that puppy love. How ever are you going to write with a new puppy to cuddle and play with and well, train? :)

They just get cuter and cuter! Maybe Ruby needs a littermate (George or Georgina?) to go home with her???
