Pine Tree Reading Program; Day 4

My last day in West Bloomfield, Michigan, was definitely a day I'll never forget!

I spoke to the Pine Tree readers at Doherty Elementary School:

They made an amazing mural based on How to Steal a Dog:

They sang a song and danced for me!

They made fantastic projects, like dioramas and a whole clothesline full of info about me and my book!

Thanks so much, Doherty!!!

Oh wow! They sang and danced, too? What a fabulous tribute to a great book and a great writer.

Barbara,
We had so much fun with you. Your book was a wonderful story for our students to read and provided us with a terrific springboard for discussions and projects. The school is buzzing about being on your blog! thanks for everything!
