whenever a teacher librarian retires in IC, a quilt is made for her. the ultimate quilter retired a couple of years ago (i'm sure you met her...) and everyone wanted to do something extra special for her. if you wanted you were able to submit your own fabric, but you were also requested to write words of wisdom as a "title"...then the quilters made something like this, only there were shelves and shelves of books. it was amazing. i think my title was "read, relax, revel" or something like that.
