Saying goodbye

My beloved dog, Phoebe, passed away.

Sigh....

She will be missed a lot.

Only five years old, but she had a full and happy life.

She loved the beach (as witnessed in the video).

She loved her toys.

She was suspicious of African drums.

She liked to go to work with me.

She sometimes had pollen nose.

She loved to swim.

She most definitely will be missed.

I am so sorry.
I lost a fifteen year old Golden last summer.
He was my best friend.
And it was heartbreaking.

My heart aches for you. I have a four-legged writing partner, too. So many times I look at her and wish that dogs lived as long as people.

I echo Sarah Miller's sentiment in saying "AW, HELL!"
But seriously, me and my Rizzo are sending good vibes your way.

Condolences. I know how much you'll miss your sweet Phoebe. We will, too, since you shared her doggy goodness so generously on your blog.

I am so sorry. I know how you feel. Our little dachshund passed away a year ago in January. She was like a member of our family. Time will heal, but she will always be there in your heart.
