Be prepared

I spend a lot of time on the road visiting schools in New England.

Having had a couple of close calls with blizzards and the possibility of getting stranded on the side of the road, I now keep a winter survival kit in my car.

Hat, gloves, scraper, quilt, de-icer

Shovel

Snacks, forks, tissues, toothbrushes

I'm ready!

I just finished reading The Small Adventure of Popeye and Elvis today. I LOVED it! I'm looking forward to seeing you at the Georgia Children's Lit Conference in March. You can leave the winter survival kit at home. :)
