6:30 a.m. on the beach.
It was very misty and foggy.

Ruby practiced "sit" and "stay."
And did well, even when distracted by a lone jogger.
The tide was far out, leaving lots of great tidal pools for exploring.
And piles of squishy seaweed to jump in
And teeny weeny starfish!

Ruby is getting so big! And seeing that starfish makes me want to hurry to the beach!
What a good girl Miss Ruby is! My dogs, on the other hand, started this morning with a way too close encounter with a skunk in our backyard.
Oh wow! I wish we had been able to work Cassie on the beach at that young age. She is not a fan and is afraid of the waves that come in so loud and so fast.
Love that puppy! Ruby is certainly a charmer.
