That linked article says: "As late as 2006, Newman was still sneaking over to Lime Rock Park in Connecticut to race."
But they are wrong.
I watched him race last September (2007) - at the age of 82 - and he won!!
So Paul, here's to you!
(I guess I will never be a sports photographer.)

I was so sad to hear this news. One tribute I listened to said he always wanted to be considered a working actor, not a movie star. I love that.
