Four words

You know how George Carlin had those seven words that should never be said on TV?

Well, here are my four words that should never be said in the dentist's office:

periodontal

surgery

root

canal

Oh, ick.

I was about to email you a sound file of THE seven words spoken by the man himself, but it won't work on a Mac. *le sigh*

Anyway, take your iPod and listen to a book. It worked for me and my cavities. But not a funny book. You don't want to be wiggling while they're poking around in your tender parts....

Maybe those four words will be balanced by these two:

Nitrous Oxide.

I thought I was going to have a root canal last year and posted a few poems and ran a contest on the topic. Made the wait much more fun. And then I didn't need one after all!
Here is the link--you might be able to relate!
