Hooray for you and Popeye! I just read it and it's just a perfect combination of naughty and nice, funny and poignant. Oh, I just loved it.
I sat next to you, btw, at the NCTE Children's literature luncheon. I had you sign my copy of Popeye and Elvis to the elementary school, but then I decided I needed my own at the middle school (gr. 5 - 8).
It was a great luncheon and fantastic conference. I also attended the blogging authors panel. The energy there was contagious. It definitely inspired me to blog more and stretch my wings a bit. BTW, here's the link to what I wrote about Popeye.
