Just checking in from the nursing home
During my PowerPoint presentation at a school recently, a student noticed the date on my sixth grade report card and commented that it was 37 years before she was born.
I thought she must have been mistaken....
....but she wasn't.

LOL! And ouch. I show teacher's comments from my third grade report card. The date, though? Nuh-uh.
You will be amused to know that today, during our first day of reading Greetings from Nowhere, the kids were talking about how old Aggie is. They first said 40, then 20, then between 20 and 40. I am still not quite sure if they think a 20-40 year old woman is very, very old or not...they said no, but either way, 20 and 40 are pretty much the same to them!

HA! PS - I love the picture. On the other end, the people I work with usually think my birth date is a mistake too.
